Regular wellness exams allow us to catch underlying health problems early, provide consistent preventative care, and support your pet’s overall health and well-being.
Our veterinarians are skilled in diagnosing common problems that affect our pets like vomiting, itching, lumps, limping, and more.
Vaccines are essential for preventive care and can increase the chances of a longer, happier life for pets. Ensuring that pets are consistently up to date with their vaccinations can help prevent contracting disease or help lessen the severity of symptoms if a disease is contracted.
Another key component of helping to maintain your pet’s health and happiness is having them on reliable, consistent heartworm preventative.
Heartworm disease is serious and potentially fatal to our dogs and cats. Heartworms are spread by mosquito bites and can grow up to a foot long, living in the heart and lungs of our beloved pets.
Fleas can cause itchy skin, skin infections, and spread tapeworms. Ticks can carry disease such as Lyme Disease, Ehrlichiosis, and more.
From routine cleanings to tooth extractions, the Thrive Pet Healthcare network of Primary Care veterinarians and Dental Specialists is here to keep your pet's smile fresh! Our general practices can take care of everyday dental maintenance with outstanding regular check-ins, cleanings, and basic surgeries.
Meanwhile, our specialty veterinarians are prepared to handle more complex or chronic dental cases like a root abscess, jaw fracture, abnormal tooth formation, or advanced periodontal disease. These doctors are highly trained within the field of veterinary dentistry and have access to specialized equipment, typically unavailable at primary care clinics.
Unless you intend to breed, we recommend having pets spayed or neutered. Pets that have been spayed or neutered tend to live longer and have healthier lives.
It's hard to provide care without knowing the root of what is ailing your pet, which is why diagnostic testing is so important. Diagnostic testing can include laboratory testing (blood, urine, and fecal) and diagnostic imaging like X–rays, CT, MRI, and ultrasound.
We will be by your side during this time of need to offer both medical assistance and emotional support.
The occasional taps, scrapes, and scratches that happen when playing with your pet means it's time for a trip to your local veterinarian or boarding facility! Trimming your pet's nails is a healthy part of their life, and can lead to greater comfort in everyday activity.
A selection of routine surgeries can be performed as outpatient procedures by your Primary Care veterinarian, while pets requiring more complex procedures and specialized surgical techniques can be tended to at our Specialty Care hospitals.
Our Primary Care clinics are equipped with state-of-the-art surgical suites and veterinarians who are heavily skilled at performing general routine surgeries like mass-removals, tooth extractions, fracture repair, and foreign-body removals. Thrive’s Specialty Hospitals have board-certified veterinary surgeons ready to tackle your pet’s advanced surgical needs.
Another key component of helping to maintain your pet’s health and happiness is having them on reliable flea, tick, and internal parasite preventatives. Parasite infestations can cause a variety of problems that all disrupt your pet’s ability to thrive, from a relentless itch to a life-threatening illness like Lyme Disease.
Thankfully, prevention is easy! There are a wide range of medications and preventative products available that can help fight off these pesky parasites. Your veterinarian will happily be a source of information and professional advice when choosing which option best suits your pet’s unique needs and lifestyle.
Pets unfortunately tend to develop masses on or inside their skin. When these masses grow, they can sometimes create problems for your pet. Mass removals are intended to remove unwanted or dangerous growths from your pet. The goal of any mass removal is to remove the abnormal tissue so it cannot cause problems either by growing too large, damaging surrounding tissue or spreading to other places inside the body.
Often time we will recommend sending the removed tissue to our lab so our pathologists can look at the growth and determine if surgery was curative or if any other action needs to be taken. Many types of cancers in dogs and cats can be cured simply by being diligent about having your pet's masses examined and removed.
Microchip implants are about the size of a grain of rice and are administered like a vaccine with potentially no pain to little pain for your pet. This significantly increases the chances of a reunion should they ever go missing.
Our clinics offer nutrition consultations to help cut through the confusion and help find the proper food fit for your pet.
Laser therapy (also called cold laser, therapeutic laser, or low-level laser) is an incredibly safe technology that delivers photons of light directly to a pet's injured or painful tissue. Extensive research has shown how this process can help to improve neurologic function, heal wounds, decrease swelling and reduce their pain by interacting with mitochondria, stimulating rapid repair of damaged cells. Cold laser therapy works well for pets suffering from:
Osteoarthritis
Joint Pain
Spinal Cord Injuries
Rattlesnake bites
Muscle Tension
Wounds
And More!
Radiology encompasses a diverse range of diagnostic imaging including X-ray, CT, Ultrasound, and MRI. We utilize the most up-to-date, cutting-edge technology operated by specially trained veterinary professionals.
Our Veterinary Radiologists have additional education, training, and experience in the field, enabling them to work seamlessly with primary, specialty, and emergency care clinicians to provide advanced image interpretation on acute and complex medical cases.
Ultrasound is one of the most common diagnostic imaging procedures used to detect and monitor disease in pets. Ultrasound uses sound waves at different frequencies to produce detailed images of the heart and other internal organs.
This non-invasive diagnostic method does not utilize radiation and in many cases does not require sedation, limiting adverse effects on the patient and allowing us to conduct scans on an outpatient-basis.

Dr. Warren grew up in Great Falls, SC, and graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1985 where she earned a BS in Biology. Originally, Dr. Warren had a desire to follow in her father’s footsteps and become a practicing family physician, eventually returning to Great Falls and joining the family practice. However, her life’s direction and desire changed during college and she found herself drawn towards the field of veterinary medicine. Dr. Warren graduated from the University of Georgia, School of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. Her first job after graduating was in Orangeburg, SC, where she practiced for two years. For a short time period she worked as a relief veterinarian before finally settling in at a clinic in Columbia. It was there that she, through the help of a very cute chocolate Labrador retriever puppy named Belle, met her husband, Will. Dr. Warren practiced for fifteen years before deciding to become a practice owner of Four Paws Animal Clinic in 2009. In 2009 she became a board member for the Animal Mission, which is a nonprofit organization that raises money for spay/neuter vouchers, educates the community on the need for pet population control and sponsors an exhibit at Ed Venture Children’s museum providing the public with additional information on pet population control and basic pet care. She and will continue to sponsor pet rescue organizations. Currently, Nori and Will have two rescue dogs; Princess Buttercup, a Papillon Mix, Reggie Roo, a long haired chihuahua, Olivia, a Chihuahua Mix, a cat that likes to knead bread, Dough Boy, as well as a cat named Cinnamon who was brought on board by Doughboy himself. Will has been in the pharmaceutical industry for 25 plus years and currently works for Alkermes pharmaceuticals. Together, Nori and Will enjoy boating, cycling, spinning and working out at the gym. When she has a few extra moments in her day, Nori enjoys attending yoga and Pilates classes. Nori and Will, along with Tracy and Eddie, have very strong feelings regarding pet rescue and have been the proud recipients of many rescue animals. The Warrens have especially enjoyed adopting the “larger” of the breeds and have had quite a few Great Danes and Irish Wolfhounds in their household and are looking forward to additional family members in the future.

She then attended Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2021. Dr. McCoy is interested in public health, specifically preventative medicine, infectious disease, and the human-animal bond. She loves to help educate owners about their pets and aid them in understanding their individual conditions.
